Redback Drilling Drilling:- The above prices include P.V.C. casing, gravel pack, cement grouting and development. The use of tainless steel well screens, steel and FRP (fiber re-inforced plastic) casing will incur additional charges. 4" is the general diameter recommendrd for a domestic or light commercial bore, however where volumes in excess of 5000 litres per hour need to be extraced, we recommend a 5". "Urban" refers to bores drilled in residential areas where all waste products from drilling are collected in skips and liquid waste vacuum tankers for environmentally responsible disposal.The site is cleaned up after drilling and left spotless. "Rural" refers to bores drilled where mud, drill cuttings etc. can be discharged onto the ground near the bore and left on site i.e. in the middle of a paddock. Drilling fluids, mud and water still need to be prevented from entering streams and waterways, therefore additional charges may apply if an excavator is needed to dig pits or construct bund walls.
